Players from all over the US, will be chosen to participate in this unique event where they will be able to showcase in front of top colleges and National Olympic Teams as they play for their heritage. This event is NOT a pay to play event. Players must be chosen to participate.

ELLA Will hold evaluation and tryouts for National Olympic Teams. Since 2021, we’ve had more than 40 players chosen to play for National Olympic teams.

ELLA CUBA TEAM Multicultural Humanitarian TRIP!

ELLA goes international! Meet our amazing selected athletes traveling to Havana, Cuba to play with the Cuban Olympic Team. This trip marks our third annual Multicultural Humanitarian Trip.

  • ELLA Sports Foundation proudly organized Empowerment Camps powered by Lululemon for girl athletes at Azusa Pacific, Whittier College.
  • ELLA arranged for girl athletes to showcase their skills in front of college coaches at no cost, something that has never been done before. The camps provide an opportunity for girl athletes to improve their skills, cultivate leadership and self-confidence as they advance their sports careers by being seen by college coaches.

EDUCATION

 

  • ELLA Sports Foundation’s “Raising Girl Athletes: The Seven Whys” Youth Empowerment Workshop for girls 8- 11 years old, took place Feb. 18 at Providence High School in Burbank, CA. The workshop, led by ELLA Co-Founder Patty Godoy focused on the importance of girls being involved in sports, the benefits of team building as well as developing discipline and a mindset that will serve them for life.

  • ELLA Empowerment Workshops for Fairfax High School girl athletes. ELLA conducted several empowerment workshops for high school girl athletes, giving them the tools to excel at their sports as well as academics and team building.
  • Mission College Softball Workshop. Girl athletes at Mission College participated in an ELLA Softball Workshop, helping them to improve their skills, discipline and self confidence.

  •  L.A. Marathon and BIG 5K Race on March 18 & 19. Approximately 80 ELLA members and stakeholders gathered to raise awareness & support ELLA’s mission to level the playing field for Latina athletes and women of color. Both teams raised nearly $10,000 that will go back to the community in the form of equipment donations to high school sports teams. ELLA was accepted by The McCourt Foundation as a nonprofit partner for the L.A. Marathon. 
  • ELLA Sports Foundation presented its first International Women’s Leadership Conference on March 11, 2023, featuring a panel of distinguished community role models. Details here!
  • Donation to Fairfax High School. ELLA Sports Foundation Donated $5,000 dollars’ worth of sports equipment to students at Fairfax High School. ELLA leadership will donate balls, cleats, bats, and helmets to the school’s softball team. donate $5,000 dollars’ worth of sports equipment to students at Fairfax High School.   • Donation to Unity Reed High School. ELLA donated funds and sports equipment to the girls’ soccer team at Unity Reed High School in Manassas, Prince William County, Virginia. The funds will enable the team to rent an indoor sportsplex they can use to practice during the winter months.
